This unique technology provides permanent hair reduction and removal, a solution for battles of ingrown hairs and unwanted hair growth.
To determine if Laser Hair Removal is right for you, call to schedule a free consultation.

The laser emits pulses of infrared light that last no more than a fraction of a second. The light penetrates the skin right to the hair bulb, where the highest concentration of melanin is found. The pulse time is just long enough to disable the hair follicle without damaging the surrounding skin. The treated follicle gradually shrinks, producing fine, downy hair barely visible to the naked eye.
Each laser pulse produces a slight prickling or pinching sensation that is easily tolerated by most patients. Attached to the laser is a cooling system that is used to alleviate any discomfort caused by the procedure.
The time required for complete hair removal depends upon the area being treated. For example, the upper lip area requires only a few minutes to treat, while the lower leg may take about an hour.

Hair grows in cycles. The laser targets hair follicles that are in the active growth (anagen) phase. Follicles in the resting (tillageregular) phase have less pigment and therefore must reach the next growth phase before they can be effectively disabled.
Every one responds to laser hair removal differently, optimum results can be achieved with only 4 to 8 treatments. In some cases permanent hair reduction of the treated zone may be obtained within a year.
Prices depend on what area of the body you want treated. Quotes are available with a free consultation with a laser technician.

There may be slight reddening of the treated area for the first few minutes following the procedure. Patients are strongly urged to avoid exposure to the sun right after treatment.
As the body tries to expel the dead hair shafts, it may seem as though the hair is continuing to grow. Not to worry. This dead hair will fall out on its own within a week or two.
While hair removal is the most effective on fair skinned clients with dark hair, darker or black skin types can be safely and effectively treated. Patients suffering from hormonal disorders will be referred to a doctor for consultation prior to treatment.
Side effects are minimal. Very rarely, clients may experience some changes in pigmentation (hyper – or hypo pigmentation), but this is generally a temporary condition that disappears within a few weeks of treatment. As well, any freckles or pigmented lesions on the treated area may fade or vanish altogether due to the concentration of pigment.
